Emerging Technology part 1

The article that I am doing is about Light-Field Photography. This camera lets you adjust the focus on the image after you've taken the picture. So far it is being sold for$399 and up by the company Lytro. The cameras existed before, but they had limited uses and weren’t cheap for consumers. Refocusing images after they are shot is just the beginning of what Lytro's cameras are going to be able to do. Soon a downloadable software update will let the camera capture everything in a photo in sharp focus regardless to the distance from the lens, which this is practically impossible to do with a conventional camera. Another update for this year will use the data in a Lytro snapshot to create a 3-D image!

What surprised me the most about this article was that the camera will let you adjust after taking the photo! The possibility for the future can be endless. Just by reading this article I can tell that technology is going to be better and cooler in the future and I can’t wait!
