Technology article

The Xperia Tablet Z is just 0.27 inches thick and 1.09 pounds. That's 27% thinner and 24% lighter than Apple's fourth-generation iPad. Announced last month and on display for the first time at Mobile World Congress on Monday. It has 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 2 gigabytes of RAM, and a full HD resolution of 1920x1080. The Tablet Z is constructed in such a way that the lack of mass doesn't make the device feel cheap (like a toy), it feels like a premium tablet. Oh, and did I mention that the Tablet Z is waterproof? well, because it is!

Voki vs. Blabberize

I preferred voki over blabberize because voki seemed easier to use. Blabberize was difficult for me because I had to use audacity to record and then had to transfer it over to blabberize, which I found that confusing. I would use them both again. I could use them for biographies.
They both could make things talk. One was easier and the other wasn't. they both were fun and useful. blabberize involved uploading a picture.

Blabberize (:

Real Life Stories

"Tracking Teresa"

1. What personal information did Teresa give out? Her brother’s name and email

2. Have you ever put personal information on the Internet?  Yes

3. What do you believe is the most important thing to remember when using the Internet? To use common sense and never give out personal information.

"Julie's Journey"
In the Video Julie talked about how he met a guy online. They became more than friends and she would talk to him between 3-6 hours. She ended up running away and when she did she found out that he was 56 years old. they ran away for 3 weeks and when they got caught he had to go to jail for 25 years. This video shows me that it is very dangerous to talk to strangers online and to never meet them in person.

Digital Footprint

I am proud that there is no bad words on my statuscloud. I am not embarrassed about my status cloud. I would want to make sure that my statuses are me.

Cyber-bullying

The movie "Cyber-Bullying" is a very good movie. It shows that this does happen in real life and that there are people out there that care about it. This movie does show that there are ways to handle it and that suicide is not the answer. There were some differences however, in  this movie. Like normally the person getting bullied wouldn't still be friends with the bully. Also, not a lot of people would have the guts to point out to the bully that what they are doing is wrong. This case was similar to some that we discussed inn class.
